Contact usAs we all know, Sand Making Machine and Stone Crusher are types of crushing equipment, what’s the difference between them? Most people don’t distinguish them clearly when buying, they would treat them as the same that they all can crush the hard thing into smaller ones, but not, today, we HXJQ will solve these puzzles from you.
They belong to different concepts. Sand maker also is called as “impact crusher”, when it is operating, stone can be crushed into particles of different sizes. Meanwhile, these particles can be screened out upon the sand maker, then be used directly. Compared with a sand maker, when rocks are crushed by a stone crusher, they will become larger-size particles but can’t be screened out.
They have abundant differences in feeding materials size. The stone crusher was invented earlier than the sand maker. Generally, a stone crusher is a jaw crusher, used for crushing hard things, like rock, mineral materials, etc. It also adopts the squeezing and splitting crush towards the stone, which is the fundamental part across the production plant. Even if the stone crusher only can crush stone, It is under a higher crushing efficiency.
As for a sand maker, it can crush rocks according to the centrifugal force of the impeller to make materials crash the lining board or material lining so that they could be crushed apart. As a dual-function machine on sandstone, it falls within the part of sand making or particle shaping. Additionally, the sand maker could be adjusted on particle size as your demand, as well as acquiring the function of shaping and crushing.
They have different usage. A stone crusher is mainly used for crushing medium hardness and brittleness material, such as granite, pebble, limestone, coal, ore stone, machine-made sand crushing, building materials stone crushing, etc. While a sand maker is suitable for the medium and fine crushing of hard and brittle materials, like rock, abrasive, refractory materials, cement clinker, quartz, iron ore, concrete aggregate, etc, is used frequently in man-made sand and stone shaping area.
